Wind Power Plants
Control Systems
Each Mitsubishi Power wind turbine generator has an individual built-in control system to control and monitor the generator for optimum electric power generation based on conditions such as the wind speed and direction. Currently, one control system is installed for each 1,000-kW class Mitsubishi Power wind turbine generator to contribute to stable generation of clean energy.
The control system for the 1,000-kW class wind turbine generators uses a small-size controller MRC from MHI Power Control Systems Co., Ltd. (an MHI affiliate company).
- The compact multi-purpose remote controller (MRC) has now been upgraded to a universal remote controller (URC) with enhanced functionality and support for redundant configurations.
Controller Deliveries
More than 4,500 1,000-kW class wind turbine generators systems have been delivered (note).
- As of the end of fiscal year 2009. Based on MHI Power Control Systems Co., Ltd. research
