Message from the CEO
The energy landscape has witnessed significant shifts and continues to evolve at a rapid pace, particularly in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. Today, the world’s leading oil producing region is focusing on a new era of clean electricity generation. Economic diversification, coupled with climate change now has governments in the region actively rolling out energy expansion and diversification strategies, that will lead to a larger share of energy supply coming from alternative sources such hydrogen, renewables, and nuclear.
As a company that has contributed significantly to the development of the power infrastructure in the region for more than 50 years, Mitsubishi Power is committed to helping transition our world to cleaner, more sustainable and affordable energy.
Partnering with our customers on this transformation journey, Mitsubishi Power has the expertise, innovative technologies, and the capability to turn ideas into reality. Now more so than ever, the company is moving forward in its ambition to become a leading energy solutions provider with a broad spectrum of businesses in grid-level power generation, renewables, energy storage and digital technologies.
At Mitsubishi Power, we are also working on creating energy technologies of the future, as we remain dedicated to realizing a low-carbon society. As a leader in hydrogen-fueled turbine technology for almost 30 years, we are working towards building new infrastructure and solutions that will set the stage for cleaner energy, powered by hydrogen.
We have a deep commitment to the region and its society to help foster education and job creation. As part of Mitsubishi Power’s mission of knowledge transfer and capacity building, we are working towards the localization of value chains and skill development among local talent across the MENA region.
Throughout its history, Mitsubishi Power has built a strong position as a trusted partner to power generation companies globally. Together with our partners, local governments, and our customers in the MENA region, we will continue to apply our world-leading capabilities to solve energy challenges and bring reliable power to people.
