The groundbreaking internship program represents a significant step forward in education and power generation in Kuwait. Entitled "Improve Yourself, Improve Your Work," it will provide students in the Mechanical Engineering Department at Kuwait University's College of Engineering and Petroleum the opportunity to gain real life experience, elevate their skills and deepen their knowledge in power generation, a fundamental sector of Kuwait's economy, and a key driver of the country's ongoing progress and sustainable development.

The agreement was announced at an official Signing Ceremony held at the Kuwait University campus at Sabah AlSalem University City and was signed by Professor Nawaf Al Muteri, Acting President of Kuwait University and by Mr. Ahmed Monir, General Manager for Kuwait at Mitsubishi Power. Interns will be able to participate in a focused 25-hour curriculum, which includes on-site training at Kuwait power stations equipped with Mitsubishi Power technologies.

Alongside on-the-job training at Kuwait power stations, the curriculum will include comprehensive sessions on power plant operations and safety protocols, ensuring that students not only acquire technical knowledge but also understand the critical safety procedures within the energy industry. Upon completion, participants will be required to present a summary of their experience and insights gained, and in turn, receive a certification recognizing their participation and successful completion of the program.
