This is Mr. Fukumoto (Fukumoto), the president of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Power Precision Casting Co., Ltd.

Our company consists mainly of turbine blades and vanes, which are high-temperature components of industrial gas turbines.
This precision casting company manufactures turbine vanes using super heat-resistant alloy by the lost wax process.

Our company is a group company of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd. , which leads the world in power generation technology.

Turbine moving blades and stationary blades, which are high-temperature used in gas turbine engines Because they are used at extremely high temperature atmosphere up to 1,650℃, they require precision casting that uses super-heat-resistant alloys, has a complex cooling structure, and has a highly controlled crystalline state.

Corporate development

1971 Mitsubishi Steel TRW Co., Ltd. was founded as a joint venture company between Mitsubishi Steel Mfg. Co., Ltd. and TRW Automotive Inc. in the United States.
1976 Joint venture with TRW Automotive Inc. in the United States was dissolved. (Technical tie-up continued until 1986.)
1985 Manufacture of blades for jet engines (for Pratt and Whitney in the United States, etc.) was started.
1991 Trial manufacture of large DS (directionally solidified) precision cast buckets was started.
1994 Trial manufacture of SC (single crystal) precision cast buckets was started.
1997 Large mold making and casting equipment was additionally installed and a finishing and inspection factory was additionally built.
1999 The Precision Casting Division was separated and made independent from Mitsubishi Steel Mfg. Co., Ltd. A new company under the name of "DIA PRECISION CASTING CO., LTD." took over the business and was started as a company 100% affiliated with Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd.
2005 Electric discharge machines were introduced and machining of turbine blades was started.
2006 A testing and verification division was newly set up and material analysis, etc. were started on the company's own account.
2009 Name changed to Mitsubishi Heavy lndustries Precision Casting Co.,Ltd.
2014 Name changed to Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems Precision Casting Co.,Ltd.
2020 Name changed to Mitsubishi Power Precision Casting Co.,Ltd.
2021 Name changed to Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Power Precision Casting Co.,Ltd.
