Activity 1: Health & Hygiene

CSR Partner: Nagu Foundation, A start up non-profit organisation working for needs of society

• Contribution towards supply of customized sanitary pads for mentally challenged females
• No. of Beneficiaries:Around 100 specially abled women

Date of Event: No Event by Company. Women Employees have volunteered and visited various places and distributed the customized sanitary pads to the beneficiaries on behalf of the Company

Activity 2: Drinking Water: Amruthabindu

CSR Partner: ITOK Foundation, An Organisation working with Government of Karnataka, for sharing information about water facilities and other societal needs in the state and installation of water filters

• Providing of Drinking Water Facilities(Installation of Water Filters) in Government Schools (where poor and economically backward children study) which do not have proper drinking water facilities for the children.
• Selected 6 Schools (1x250LPH Eureka Forbes and 5x100LPH Kent) after evaluation of around 13 Schools in Bangalore Rural Areas.

Activity 3: CSR @ Project Site - Mouda

CSR Partner: ITOK Foundation

A Survey has been conducted to find out the CSR needs of the villages nearby the NTPC Mouda FGD Site. After evaluating many proposals the following CSR Projects are taken up at Dhamangaon Village, Mouda, Nagpur, Maharashtra:

• Construction of Bus shelter
• Drinking Water (RO) Plant in School (50 LPH)

Activity 4: CSR @ Project Site - Rihand

CSR Partner: ITOK Foundation

A Survey has been conducted to find out the CSR needs of the villages nearby the NTPC Rihand FGD Site. After evaluating many proposals the following CSR Projects are taken up atJaraha Village, Rihand Nagar, Uttar Pradesh:

• Drinking Water (RO) Plant in School (100 LPH)
• Drinking Water (RO) Plant for Community (250 LPH)
• Running Water Facility i.e. Water Sanitation and Hygiene program

Activity 5: Promoting Education

CSR Partner: Direct by Company

A Survey has been conducted to find out the CSR needs of the villages nearby the NTPC Rihand FGD Site. After evaluating many proposals the following CSR Projects are taken up at Jaraha Village, Rihand Nagar, Uttar Pradesh:

• Distribution of Note Books (8000 Books) to poor and economically backward students.
• The Note books are printed with MHPS India name and Logo.

Activity 6: Promoting Education: Education & Housing Support

CSR Partner: Make A Difference (MAD)

MAD is one of India’s largest high-touch, youth driven, non-profit organisations working to transform outcomes for children in shelter homes across India. They provide care, developmental, educational, progression and long term mentoring support for children along their entire journey from critical vulnerability to stable adulthood, extending from age 10 to 28.

• Sponsoring for College Education, Housing support, Financial support, Scholarships etc. of orphan children
• No. of Beneficiaries: 9 No.s of children for 1 year

Activity 7: Environment

CSR Partner: Save Green

MAD is one of India’s largest high-touch, youth driven, non-profit organisations working to transform outcomes for children in shelter homes across India. They provide care, developmental, educational, progression and long term mentoring support for children along their entire journey from critical vulnerability to stable adulthood, extending from age 10 to 28.

• Plantation of Trees within Bangalore Area including of 1 year maintenance
• Total 4000 Trees
