Ultrasonic Testing (UT) for GGH Bundles

Ultrasonic Testing (UT) refers to a non-destructive inspection technique using Ultrasonic, and it is used to measure the tube thickness of heat exchanger tubes, etc.
We has developed a measurement technology specialized for measuring the wall thickness of GGH bundle tubes.
Since the tubes in the GGH bundle have a multi-stage configuration connected by a U-bend, it was previously necessary to cut the U-bend and re-install the bend after measurement, at the time of thickness measurement on the multi-stage tubes. Our independently developed “U Through Sensor” enables us to measure multi-stage tubes without cutting U-bends, and it brings high-precision identification of thinning points and the remaining life of tubes as before.
