Impact Day 2025: Building Stronger Communities Together
At Mitsubishi Power Americas, powering a brighter future means more than delivering reliable energy solutions. It means showing up for the communities where we live and work.
In 2025, employees across our organization rolled up their sleeves for our second annual Impact Day, a growing, multi-location volunteer initiative focused on housing, stability, and community support.
What started as a single day of service has evolved into a coordinated effort spanning months, facilities, and hundreds of volunteers.
And this year, the impact was bigger than ever.
Impact Day 2025 at a Glance
Here’s what our teams accomplished:
- • 200+ volunteers
- • 7 participating locations
- • Nearly $100,000 in donations
- • Multiple home builds completed
- • Playhouses built for local families
- •Three ReStore volunteer activations
But the numbers only tell part of the story. Behind each statistic were employees framing walls, painting structures, organizing inventory, lifting panels, and working side by side with nonprofit partners to create something tangible and lasting. -
From Shop Floors to Build Sites
-
Across North American Manufacturing and operations teams, employees stepped away from their daily roles and into hands-on service projects that directly support housing initiatives.
Here’s how each location contributed:
Glastonbury, CT (AERO)
September 4, 2025
One of the most comprehensive service days across all sites. Teams supported a home build, volunteered at Habitat for Humanity ReStore locations, and completed a playhouse build in a single activation.
Savannah Machinery Works (SMW)
September 10, 2025
Volunteers completed a full wall build for a residential construction project, applying precision and teamwork in a new setting.
Houston Training Center
September 17 & 18, 2025
Over two service days, teams built four playhouses donated to Home-AVANCE. One was ADA-compliant, ensuring children of all abilities could enjoy the space.
Baton Rouge (BR)
October 9, 2025
Employees contributed on-site labor to support a home build, helping move the project forward for a family in need.
Orlando Service Center (OSC)
November 5, 2025
Volunteers participated in playhouse builds, bringing craftsmanship and coordination to the project.
MD&A
November 18, 20 & 21, 2025
Across three service days, employees supported ReStore operations, assisting with organization, logistics, and customer-facing activities.
Lake Mary (LM)
January 9, 15 & 16, 2026
Across three dedicated service days, volunteers made significant construction progress on the home build. Teams framed key sections of the house, raised and secured walls, and completed essential structural work to advance the build
Built on Action, Not Just Intention
Impact Day 2025 marked a shift in how we show up for our communities.
Instead of a single moment of participation, this year’s efforts were intentional and locally led. Each location partnered with organizations in their own communities, identifying projects where we could make a meaningful difference.
Many of those efforts centered around housing. Helping support families with safe, stable places to live and strengthening the nonprofit partners doing that work every day. Across the U.S., teams stepped into projects where their time and effort could make a tangible impact.
This is service that leaves something behind:
- • A framed wall
- • A finished home
- • A playhouse ready for a child
- • A nonprofit better equipped to serve
-
Powering More Than Energy
Impact Day is not separate from our business; it reflects the same collaboration, accountability, and execution that define our operations every day.
When employees work together outside of their traditional roles, they reinforce a culture built on teamwork and shared responsibility. The same discipline that powers advanced energy solutions also powers community impact.
As participation continues to grow year over year, so does our commitment.
Because powering progress isn’t only about megawatts.
It’s about people.
It’s about communities.
And it’s about building something that lasts.
