Overview

Water/Hydrogen cooled turbine generators are primarily used in thermal power plants with output of at least 600 MW that require high reliability and long-term continuous operation. The stator end winding employs a structure resilient to loosening due to long-term operation. Materials and construction boasting durability against centrifugal forces has been applied to the rotor.

As cooling water flows through the stator conductor, the materials and construction used make it less likely for the inside of the conductor to become clogged or corroded.

Mitsubishi Power also provides training that covers operation and maintenance, as well as a long-term service agreement (LTSA).
