Fuel Diversification Technologies
Combining sophisticated combustion measurements obtained in combustion tests using a 4-ton/hour near-to-scale burner with computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulations enables swift development and practical utilization. A wide range of fuels are supported, including solid fuels such as coal, petroleum coke and biomass like wood chip and wood pellet, gaseous fuels such as natural gas, blast furnace gas (BFG) and other by-product gases, and liquid fuels such as heavy crude oil and solvent de-asphalting (SDA) pitch.
